When Ladakh was opened to the outside in 1974 the hotel K-Sar Palace was, in 1978, one of the pioneers in welcoming in all those that they wanted to venture itself by this recondite and surprising corner of India. Ladakhis shaped in its outer structure impronta of the houses. The passage of time notices and would need reforms but the truth is that almost all the hotels (except those of great luxury) are equal in Leh because the so single high season lasts two months. Nevertheless, the rooms that they give to the east, the superior terrace and the garden offer a magnificent spectacle: the majestic tips snow-covered himalayas by a side and on the other hand, the real and imperturbables budhas of its palace and monastery that are at the top of the city.
It has 40 rooms and half has views to the Himalayas. Its restaurant prepares plates ladakhis, Chinese tibetanos, Indians. It is of the few that have a great garden opened with unique views.
